Lakota and Rolo, Batman & Robin, Rick & Morty, Timon & Pumba — whatever you want to call these two, know that together they are truly a dynamic duo! Lakota is a 1-year-old German Shepard and Rolo is a 4- to 5-year-old Husky/Shepard mix. Found together in the woods of Mansfield, these two survived through a combination of wits and helpful humans who fed them. Underweight and infested with ticks and worms when caught, these two have spent the last six weeks getting healthy and are now blossoming into two very beautiful boys.
Bonded through their trauma, we are looking for a home that can take them both. They are very good with other dogs and very people friendly once they get to know you. They do need a patient owner who is willing to allow them the time to get comfortable in their new surroundings and who will train them and provide the guidance and encouragement needed for them to be the best dogs they can be.
