Singer-actor Lady Gaga is reportedly set to star in the second season of , the popular Netflix series featuring Jenna Ortega in the lead role. Specifics about Gaga’s character and the extent of her involvement remain undisclosed, though filming for the new season commenced in Ireland in April this year. In a recent interview, Ortega revealed that four episodes have already been filmed.

Returning cast members include Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Ritchie Santiago. Also reprising their roles are Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, and Georgie Farmer. Guest stars Fred Armisen and Jamie McShane will also make a return.

New additions to the series include Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as regular cast members, while Steve Buscemi joins the main cast. Thandiwe Newton will make a guest appearance, along with Christopher Lloyd, Joanna Lumley, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamo. Wednesday, inspired by the iconic Addams Family character, was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar.

The first season, which premiered in November 2022, followed Wednesday Addams, played by Ortega, as she unravelled a string of brutal murders and thwarted a threat to Nevermore Academy. On the acting front, Gaga was last seen as Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie a Deux, opposite Joa.
