Kylie Jenner is no stranger to comments about her body, especially after the procedures she’s had done over the years, and now she is opening up more about the “pressure” she felt as a teen to undergo plastic surgery. Jenner, the youngest daughter in the Kardashian-Jenner clan, has had people question her changing looks for years, including recent concerns over her “puffed up lips,” and has also been the subject of reports that she pays for staffers to get injectables and botox. While her sister Kendall has also faced criticism recently, she hasn’t been as open about her struggles with her self-image.

Now, Kylie, who just turned 27, is opening up more about her decision to undergo procedures. In a new interview with British Vogue, she opened up more about what led her to have a breast augmentation as a teen. “The world put a lot of pressure on a teenager, me, to make the right decisions.

And I just have to be gentle with myself because although I carried so much responsibility in the moment, I was just trying to do what was best for me,” she told the publication. Admitting she was also surprised that she had the procedure so young, remembering she was just “17,18” years old, she also admitted she still struggles with public perception of her as her body changed after both of her pregnancies with her children, Stormy and Aire. “I feel like people didn’t give me, or give women in general, enough empathy,” she said.

She refuted claims that have surfaced.
