This situation arose following a malfunction in the fuel supply on Saturday, which led to the failure of several electricity generation units at the Al-Subiya and Doha West power and water distillation stations, according to the Ministry’s official statement. In response to the crisis, the Ministry of Electricity announced that it may need to implement further power cuts in high-energy-use areas to ensure system stability.
