In the golden years of Indian television, Dil Dosti Dance (D3) grooved through our hearts when it first premiered in 2011. It was more than just a show; it was a rhythm and an anthem for young hearts that took us into the world of music, friendship, love, and, of course, dance. At the center of this youth-based TV show was Kunwar Amar, who played the role of Reyansh Singhania aka Rey.

To many, he was the very heartbeat of D3. Recently, Times Now/ Telly Talk India got into an exclusive interaction with Kunwar who told us that he had, in fact, met the makers of D3 to choreograph the show. Little did he know that he would be asked to act in it too, that would change his life forever.

He also shared an interesting anecdote involving Dharmesh. Kunwar Amar told us, "D3 changed my life, it was a blessing. I still remember I had gone for a meeting for the show with Dharmesh.

We were meeting the creators for being choreographers of D3, not actors. There they suddenly asked me 'would you like to act?' I got silent for a while and Dharmesh kicked me from under the table. Then I said, 'haa I don't mind'.

I was then called in for an audition and I was horrible. Acting aati nahin thi. Palki, the creator, casted me anyway and convinced the channel.

Karte karte main seekh gaya. I did theatre and did workshops." D3: Dil Dost.
