Thursday, September 26, 2024 Korean Air is ramping up its operations to meet a surge in travel demand forecasted for the upcoming winter season, focusing particularly on its Southeast Asian routes. This strategic expansion comes as the airline seeks to capitalize on the growing interest in popular tourist destinations within the region. Starting October 20, the Seoul Incheon to Bali route will see a significant increase in service, as Korean Air moves from 11 weekly flights to a robust twice-daily schedule.

This increase not only reflects the airline’s commitment to accommodating the rising number of travelers looking to explore Indonesia’s famed island but also enhances the flexibility in travel options. The flights will be serviced by the Boeing 787-10, known for its passenger comfort and fuel efficiency, making it an ideal choice for the long-haul journey to Bali. Further extending its reach, Korean Air will boost the frequency of flights to Vietnam, another key destination in its network.

The Seoul Incheon-Nha Trang route is set to double in frequency starting October 27, offering two flights per day. This enhancement is geared towards meeting the needs of both leisure and business travelers seeking to experience Nha Trang’s renowned beaches and vibrant culture. Similarly, the Seoul Incheon-Phu Quoc service will increase to twice daily from December 15.

Phu Quoc, often referred to as the “Pearl Island,” is becoming a must-visit destination for its pristine beach.
