Earlier in the day, the Kolkata Police detained around 20 BJP activists and took them away in rison vans as they marched towards the commission’s office at Karunamoyee in Salt Lake. Later, another rally led by senior BJP women leaders including Agnimitra Paul, Debasree Choudhury, and Locket Chatterjee, was also halted by the cops on its way to the women’s commission’s office at Karunamoyee.
