Charles considered the photos, taken during a Royal Collection photoshoot, inappropriate and, as a result, they were not published. The images, which later featured in Angela Kelly's 2019 book, The Queen, The Dresser and The Wardrobe, captured a rare moment of Queen Elizabeth deviating from the strict protocols of royal etiquette.
