Kim Kardashian doesn't skim on fine art. That's why the Kardashians star has an original Jean-Michel Basquiat painting hanging inside her California home . As seen in photos shared by Kris Jenner from a Wicked viewing party Kim recently threw at her house, the 44-year-old showed off a work of art titled "Both Poles" during the bash, as it hung in a white hallway next to green and pink decorations.

The piece was first auctioned off to the public by Christie's in 2017 for approximately $4.9 million. Per online art marketplace Widewalls , it was last sold in 2020 for a little over $5.

"Basquiat was interested in dichotomies of wealth/poverty, integration/segregation, text/image, and abstraction/figuration," read a museum description shared by his estate on Instagram . But Kim isn't the only member in her family who appreciates pricey—but figuratively priceless—works of art.
