Kim Deal has shared new song ‘Nobody Loves You More’ – tune in now. The song is the title track of her incoming solo album, released through 4AD Records on November 22nd. The previews have displayed her singular artistry, but even amid all this the breadth and grandeur of ‘Nobody Loves You More’ still comes as a shock.

Opening in spartan, tender territory, it then switches up, a widescreen vision backed by luxuriant strings and pulsing horns. Visual collaborator Alex Da Corte picks up on this, and the video depicts a surrealist journey, attempting to bring the Bas Jan Ader-inspired album artwork to life. The quasi-mythical brings to mind the old Andrew Weatherall saying – fail we may, sail we must.

.. Catch Kim Deal at London’s Barbican on March 1st.
