The actress paid tribute to the late Dreamscape Entertainment head – who died last February – during her acceptance speech for the Outstanding Asian Star award, as seen on the award-giving body’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, Sept.

She further thanked the team behind her TV series “Linlang,” as well as the Dreamscape Entertainment family. “Without your hard work, guidance, passion and vision, none of these would be possible.
I share this honor with every single one of you.” “Lastly, I want to dedicate this honor to the person who is no longer with us — my boss, my mentor and a dear friend Sir Deo,” she said, breaking into tears. “He was the one who always pushed me to be my best, and he was the one who always [guided] me to do the best that I can be through hard work and led with kindness,” she continued.
