The partner of a soon-to-be father who tragically passed away two weeks after the birth of their baby girl has shared her heartbreak as his attacker was sent to prison. George Fenlon, a well-liked barman, was out for an evening in Blackpool while his girlfriend Bethany Turner was heavily pregnant. Tragically, he was brutally assaulted outside a nightclub in the popular holiday destination in August last year.

He sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to hospital where he was placed on life support. After being informed that there was nothing more the medical team could do for him, Beth made the decision to undergo an emergency C-section.
