Kia has introduced its flagship electric SUV, the EV9, in the Indian market with a price tag of ₹1.3 crore. The company is initially offering only the fully-equipped GT Line variant to Indian customers.

The new model is imported via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route and surpasses the EV6 as Kia's premium offering in India. EV9's design and color options The EV9 is a large SUV measuring over 5 meters in length. It features Kia's signature 'Digital Tiger Face' with sleek LED DRLs and digital lighting patterns on the grille.

The vehicle also sports 20-inch 'crystal-cut' alloys and a clean but long tailgate with a sporty roof-mounted spoiler. In India, it is available in five monotone body colors: Snow White Pearl, Ocean Blue, Pebble Gray, Panthera Metal, and Aurora Black Pearl. EV9: A blend of luxury and advanced technology The EV9 is designed with a standard six-seat layout, featuring second-row captain chairs equipped with electric adjustment, massage function, and adjustable leg support.

The vehicle also includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen and an instrument cluster of the same size. Additional features such as three-zone climate control, dual electric sunroofs, head-up display, digital inside rear-view mirror, vehicle-to-load functionality are part of the package.
