Wednesday, October 23, 2024 At around 7 a.m., the Coral Princess cruise ship arrived at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa Province, bringing 2,300 tourists.
Upon arrival, leaders from the Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism welcomed the crew and first passengers with floral greetings at the pier. The passengers will be divided into smaller groups for one-day excursions to explore Nha Trang and other popular tourist spots in the city, all arranged by Tan Hong Company. Additionally, they will visit the Wyndham Grand KN Paradise Cam Ranh Resort located at Bai Dai in Cam Ranh and have some free time to explore at their leisure.
Later in the afternoon, the group will reboard the ship and continue their journey to Hong Kong. The Coral Princess is operated by Princess Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc (USA). Built in 2002 at a cost of $360 million, the ship was launched on January 1st and underwent a major refurbishment in 2003.
Measuring over 294 meters in length and standing nearly 62 meters tall, with a tonnage of 91,627 GT, the Coral Princess is renowned for being one of the most modern, luxurious, and comfortable cruise ships in the world today. Mr. Do Thanh Long, Director of Hai Dang Nha Trang Maritime Agency Co.
, Ltd., shared that this is one of three cruise ships the company plans to welcome by the end of 2024. Previously, seven planned arrivals were canceled following the announcement that Nha Trang Port in Nha Trang City would temporarily halt.
