A key associate of the Kinahan cartel has died after a short illness. The Mirror has learned that Liam Roe – named in court as a trusted ally of a Kinahan gang leader – died in a Dublin hospital on Tuesday. Sources say Roe – who is also a cousin of gangster and murderer Fat Freddie Thompson - had been suffering from an aggressive form of cancer.
