Kerry Katona has weighed in on the controversy surrounding her pal Katie Price . The former face of Iceland has been friends with the ex-glamour model for years. She's now opened up about the mum-of-five's recent arrest, as well as her ongoing bankruptcy drama.
Katie recently dodged a court appearance for another round of surgery in Turkey. She was arrested at Heathrow Airport and was recently forced out of her Mucky Mansion, now Kerry says she doesn't know how Katie "does it". They came together for a star-studded New Year's party, and now they're reuniting for work this Christmas .
Opening up about their relationship, Kerry told OK!: "I know what a great headspace she’s in and I want people to see how well she’s doing. She’s been through a lot but I’m really proud of where she’s at right now – I don’t know how she does it." They are set to play the ugly stepsisters in a Cinderella pantomime this year.
"I'm seeing Katie soon for a press day for our Christmas panto together with AB Productions and I can’t wait. It will be good to have a proper catch-up. I can’t wait to work with her, too.
"Katie and I stay in touch over the phone but we haven’t seen each other since New Year so it’s exciting," she told the magazine. It comes after Katie wowed fans with the outcome of her latest cosmetic touch-up, looking fresh-faced ahead of her looming court appearance. The 46 year old had previously taken to social media to reveal she underwent "facial correction" surg.
