Kerry Katona has furiously responded to allegations that she was 'slurring her words' in a recent TikTok Live video, with some viewers even suggesting she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The former Atomic Kitten singer, 43, has been candid about her early career drug use and disclosed last year that doctors had informed her she needed surgery due to her nose collapsing. Following the operation earlier this year, she expressed that the outcome signified the end of that period in her life.

"I'm glad I've had it done. It's like a reward and closing the door on that chapter of my life," she shared. However, Kerry has once again been forced to deny rumours she was under the influence in a recent TikTok video.

In her latest OK! Magazine column, the mum-of-five clarified that she was definitely not inebriated and didn't intend to slur her words, hitting back at the trolls. In her new column, Kerry wrote: "Last week, I faced accusations of "slurring" my words during a TikTok Live, with some suggesting I was drunk or on drugs. The truth is, I'm still on the mend from nose surgery recovery can take up to a year so my speech isn't perfect.

"Plus, I was knackered that day and sometimes I'm just a lazy speaker it's like my tongue takes a break. I wasn't sloshed it was early morning and I was on a treadmill. It's a pain when folks jump to the worst conclusions; I hardly drink and I've been clean for ages.

But ultimately, I can't change my speech or if it comes across as slurre.
