Wilson, a 47-year-old turntablist for the band Slipknot, told Fox News Digital Thursday that his 'face is basically melted from the nose down' in the wake of the incident last week. 'My whole right arm is bandaged up, half of my left arm,' Wilson said of his numerous injuries, for which he was hospitalized.
'But the swelling's gone down, and they said the face is kind of amazing that it's regenerative, it happens real fast, seems to heal quickly.' The musician counted his blessings amid his recovery, saying, 'I've had better days, I guess, but I'm alive, so I'm doing good.' Wilson told the outlet that the explosion happened as he ventured outside on their farm to see the status of a burning wood pile.
