Prayagraj: Kaushambi district has achieved the highest ranking in the second phase of verification in PM Vishwakarma Yojna, surpassing its own performance in the first. In fact, the verification process for the PM Vishwakarma Yojana is progressing swiftly for both the first and second phases. Kaushambi district leads with over 80% verification, followed by Ghaziabad in second place, Balrampur in third, Firozabad in fourth, and Fatehpur in fifth.

Other districts, including Lalitpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Nagar, and Pratapgarh, follow closely. This ranking is based on the percentage of second-phase verifications relative to the first phase. In line with its commitment to uplifting the underprivileged and marginalised communities through various central and state schemes, the state govt has successfully implemented the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.

As a result, over 2.7 million residents of the state have applied for this scheme. A three-tier verification process is being conducted for all applications, after which training and loan facilities will be provided as needed, ensuring the enrolment of all eligible individuals.

Pointedly, multiple initiatives are being launched by the state govt to integrate the lower strata of society into the mainstream and to empower them economically. Periodic campaigns are organised to facilitate access to these schemes. Currently, there is a focused effort to maximise the benefits of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
