Katie Price ’s ex Kieran Hayler has said he is ‘hurt’ after apparently being cut from a series starring Matt Smith . The Doctor Who , The Crown and House of the Dragon actor , 41, is currently filming the Sky series The Death of Bunny Munro. Based on Nick Cave’s 2009 novel of the same name, the six-part series follows sex addict, door-to-door beauty product salesman and self-professed lothario Bunny Munro, who following his wife Libby’s suicide, finds himself saddled with a young son and only a loose concept of parenting.

Together with nine-year-old Bunny Junior he embarks on an epic and increasingly out-of-control road trip across Southern England as the two struggle to contain their grief in very different ways. Production on the series is underway, with the cast and crew spotted filming in and around Brighton earlier this month. However, after reports emerged that Kieran’s casting in the series left the star unhappy, the former stripper and ex-husband of glamour model Katie has spoken out.

The 37-year-old signed up to an extras agency earlier this year and was cast in the series. He was seen appearing in the background of a scene as a pedestrian walking past a car, however it was claimed earlier this week Matt wanted Kieran cut from the show completely after feeling ‘embarrassed’ and wanted him ‘edited out’. Now Kieran has told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column what he thinks of the reports.
