Katie Price reportedly spent "blew £10,000 in a month" on takeaways and clothes after having been declared bankrupt for the first time almost five years ago. The former glamour model, 46, is said to have spent about £7,000 during a single visit to department store Selfridges , it's been claimed. Whilst it's allowed that approximately another £500 went on takeaways, including Domino's pizzas, in the same month and an additional £2,500 on shoes.

A source has made the claims to the Sun , with the outlet reporting that Katie is said to have spent the money at the end of 2020. That was the year after she was declared bankrupt for the first time when she owed creditors £3.2 million.

The news comes after Katie was arrested earlier this week after returning to the UK from a trip to Turkey . Just last week, it was reported that an arrest warrant had been issued by a judge after she failed to attend a hearing relating to her finances on July 30. Katie was first declared bankrupt in November 2019 and for a second time in March this year.

A source described Katie as a "spendaholic" to the Sun. And they further commented: "It's incredibly worrying. She burns through obscene amounts in one go.

She doesn't care about blowing cash when she should be paying her debts." Katie was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Thursday and was later released on bail . On Friday, she appeared remotely at a hearing in a specialist bankruptcy court at the Rolls Building, hours after being detained.
