Katie Price was arrested at the airport after landing back in the UK from her trip to Turkey. The former glamour model had a warrant out for her arrest after failing to show up to a bankruptcy hearing last month. The TV personality was due to give evidence about her finances before a specialist bankruptcy court in London.
Katie was declared bankrupt in November 2019 and for a second time in March this year. The 46-year-old mum was warned she faced arrest if she failed to attend the latest hearing. Despite the warrant for her arrest, Katie flew off to Turkey to undergo more cosmetic procedures, including a facelift.
Katie was seen speaking with police officers in the back of a police van at Heathrow Airport. A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: "A 46-year-old woman from Surrey was arrested at Heathrow Airport at 19:45hrs on Thursday, 8 August for failing to appear at court. She has been remanded in custody at a west London police station to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Friday, 9 August.
