In an interview on “24 Oras,” the duo was asked about the possibility of a second sequel. “I think this will put an end,” Bernardo began as Richards pitched in, “to Joy and Ethan’s journey.
” Richards emphasized that it’s time to close this certain chapter: “Pagpahingahin na natin sila (Let’s give them a rest). They have been through a lot but from our point of view, maybe it’s time to say goodbye to Joy and Ethan but what if, the what if, but we can’t tell. But for us personally, parang okay na (we’re okay).
” Bernardo added, “This will answer all their questions.” After the success of the first movie, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” in 2019, the pair is set to reunite in the sequel, “Hello, Love, Again,” which is slated to be released on Nov. 13.
