The Prince and Princess of Wales invited Meghan and Harry over to talk out their differences over tea but the conversation turned hostile according to the Duke of Sussex. Meghan Markle never really got on that well from the get go with Kate Middleton , despite their similar circumstances, having both married into the Royal Family . The two women had both had pretty average starts in life compared to their future husbands, until they married into the most famous family in the world and had to cope with intense public scrutiny.

However, their seemingly vastly different personalities and approaches to life meant there were tensions between the Duchess of Sussex and the Princess of Wales. Harry wrote in his bombshell memoir Spare about several occasions in which his wife seemed to butt heads with his sister-in-law in the early days of their relationship, as we previously reported. He claimed that Meghan and Kate had a disagreement over bridesmaid dresses in the lead-up to his wedding that left the former Suits actress in tears and that the princess "grimaced" when the duchess borrowed her lip gloss.

However, the two women were apparently coerced into having a clear-the-air chat by their two husbands shortly after the Sussexes' honeymoon that the duke claims was so tense, Kate's fingers went white. Harry detailed the moment in his memoir in which he explained that he and Meghan were invited over for tea. He recalled how both couples aired their grievances including Kate, who asked.
