Kate Garraway's daughter Darcey paid a visit to her father Derek Draper's grave on his birthday to share her A Level results with him. The Good Morning Britain presenter broke her social media silence to announce the news. Kate, who recently took a hiatus from the ITV programme following her dad's hospitalisation, posted a heartfelt message and honoured her late husband who died in January, as reported by the Mirror.

Her daughter also received her exam results on what would have been Derek's 57th birthday. Kate, aged 57, posted a video of flowers blooming in her garden and began: "Congratulations to all who got their #alevel results this week - huge achievement - even if you're disappointed in the results - don't be - you made it to the end and life has a way of working itself out in the best way for you." She didn't get what she might have done but hey did better than any of us feared under the circumstances. I couldn't be prouder of her and know her Dad would be too. We went to Dad's grave to 'tell' him before she went out to celebrate with friends.
