Thursday, October 3, 2024 The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) successfully organized the second edition of its Destination Showcase Event in Bengaluru on October 1, 2024, highlighting the attractions of North and Coastal Karnataka. Building on the success of the first showcase held in March, which featured Chikmagalur and Sakleshpur, this event garnered enthusiastic participation from industry professionals. Mr.
Srinivasulu (IFS), Commissioner of the Department of AYUSH, Government of Karnataka, officially opened the event. Other notable attendees included Mr. K Syamaraju, President of KTS and newly appointed President of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), along with key members of the KTS executive committee.

Rajendra (IAS), Director of the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, also visited the event, engaging with stakeholders to discuss promotional strategies and the event’s impact. Several government agencies, including the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, the Department of AYUSH, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd, and Mysore Sales International Ltd, supported the event.
