'I want to kick us off by celebrating our incredible President, Joe Biden, who will be speaking later tonight,' the VP said after coming on stage earlier than Convention goers expected. 'Joe – thank you for your historic leadership, for your lifetime of service to this nation and for all you will continue to do,' Harris continued.

Harris was all smiles as she arrived at the United Center just after 8:00 p.m. following a hype-up video with Beyoncé's anthem Freed.
