Vice President is being mocked by MAGA supporters after giving a speech to a group of high school students. Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. visited Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Georgia, on Wednesday, a critical battleground state that narrowly won four years ago.

During the visit, the pair dropped in on a practice session by the school's band, where she told students: "I was in a band when I was your age." An aide said the vice president had played the French horn, xylophone and kettle drums, The Associated Press reported. "Sometimes you hit the right note, sometimes you don't.

But all the practice makes for beautiful music, and that is symbolic for everything that you all will do in you lives," Harris said. Following the speech, MAGA supporters rushed to mock the vice president. "WARNING: CRINGE," the Trump War Room X account said above a video of Harris' speech.

Others said that Harris was speaking to the students, who were teenagers, like young children. "She always does this. She literally talks down to people because she believes she is the smartest person in the room," wrote one X user.

"Reality is, she is probably the dumbest person in the room." has contacted the Harris campaign for comment via email. The visit is part of a strategy by the Harris-Walz campaign to make inroads in GOP strongholds and to use smaller, more intimate settings to showcase a softer side of the ticket—which is still relatively unknown by the electorate.
