Kamala Harris has accepted CNN’s invitation for a second presidential debate against Donald Trump next month. Trump, however, said in rally remarks Saturday that “it’s too late” for another debate against the vice president. On Saturday, CNN reported that Harris agreed to the October 23 debate just weeks before Election Day, with the vice president adding on social media that she “will gladly accept a second presidential debate” and hoped Trump would participate.

“The problem with another debate is that it’s just too late. Voting has already started,” Trump said. She’s had her chance to do it with Fox; you know Fox invited us on, I waited and waited, [Harris’ campaign] turned it down.
