Veteran industrialist and Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata passed away on October 9 at the age of 86. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital earlier this week due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. Amid the outpouring of tributes from across the nation, veteran actor Kamal Haasan recalled meeting Tata after the 2008 Mumbai attacks and detailed how the industry titan became his ‘personal hero’.

Kamal Haasan wrote, “Ratan Tata Ji was a personal hero of mine, someone I’ve tried to emulate throughout my life.
