Bollywood actress Kajol celebrates her 50th birthday today, a milestone that marks a career spanning over three decades. Known for her infectious energy, natural acting prowess, and iconic roles, the actress recently revealed that her approach to work has evolved. Kajol on being selective about her films: “I want to work with people I can tolerate” In a recent interview with Variety, Kajol candidly expressed her reasons for choosing projects selectively.
“I don’t do too much work. That’s my motivation. I want to work with people I can tolerate for the entire amount of time that I am shooting with them,” she said.
Talking about the unpredictable nature of the box office, she said, “Right now, it’s a huge question mark. There is no formula. We can’t predict audiences.
If we could, we’d be gods of the film industry.” On the work front, Kajol's upcoming slate of films promises to be a diverse and exciting journey. She is set to reunite with Prabhu Deva after a gap of 27 years in the action-packed Maharagni - Queen of Queens .
The actress will also share screen space with Kriti Sanon in the upcoming film Do Patti . She will be seen in a horror drama titled Maa , directed by Vishal Furia. Another exciting project on the horizon is Sarzameen , a mystery thriller that will bring together Kajol, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, and debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan.
