Kajal Pisal , who is currently seen in the show Jhanak, celebrates Janmashtami every year with her family with much fervour. Today marks the birth of Lord Krishna and the actress shares her plans for Janmashtami this year. Kajal says, "I am a huge devotee of Shri Krishna which is why this festival Janmashtami is very close to my heart.
It is said that Baal Gopal's birth happens in our own house, and those who believe in it and have idols in their houses will be celebrating his birth tonight. As the clock strikes 12 we will be celebrating Janmashtami. I bathe him, dress him up with colourful clothes and do a few more things for the celebration.
" She adds, "Just as we celebrate our birthdays, there is the same excitement during Janmashtami. I make it a point to prepare sweets and today I will bake a rawa cake and serving it to him with some makkhan, which is his favourite." The actress is shooting for her show but will make time to celebrate the festival with her family.
"I am currently on the set of my show and we have celebrated Janmashtami here as well. We got jalebis and rabdi for everyone." The Udaan actress further says, "Not many know at home they call me Gopi.
" There have been many beautiful teachings of Lord Krishna that Kajal follows in her daily life. "Since I was a kid, I have heard many stories about him. One thing that has stayed with me is that 'nothing is permanent in life'.
So this teaches me to live in the present and enjoy it instead of worrying about the fut.
