Actress Divya Seth Shah’s daughter Mihika Shah breathed her last on Monday. The actress, who featured in films like Dil Dhadakne Do, Jab We Met, Article 370, English Vinglish and others, shared the news of her daughter’s demise on social media and “With profound sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5, 2024.” The note was signed by Divya and her husband Siddharth Shah.
Mihika was battling a prolonged illness. Sushma Seth, who was Mihika’s maternal grandmother worked in films like Dhadkan, Jab We Met, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Silsila, Prem Rog, Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Chandni, Deewana and Kal Ho Naa Ho . Apart from movies, she also featured in iconic shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh, Hum Log and many others.
Mihika often used to share pics with her parents and grandmother. She had taken to Instagram to share beautiful photos from her childhood with her mom Divya on her birthday in April and wrote, “When I look at you, I see the purest love I’ll ever know, Every wounded soul finds their way to you, in your care they heal and grow, Divya, gods gift, my blessing from above, who’s love is stronger than the eye can see, in 8.1 billion people on earth mama, your the perfect mother for me.
Happy Birthday my Dibi, I love you.”.
