Tuesday, October 8, 2024 JW Marriott Dallas Arts District names Miguel Antonio as Executive Chef, leading the exclusive transformation of Montage with bold, globally inspired culinary creations. JW Marriott Dallas Arts District proudly announces the appointment of Miguel Antonio as the new Executive Chef for the hotel’s three dining venues, including the newly renamed ranch-to-table restaurant, Montage. Chef Antonio brings a vision of sophisticated yet accessible cuisine, now showcased in the fall and winter menus, which highlight seasonal ingredients and international inspirations.
Originally from Tampico, Mexico, Chef Antonio trained in the U.S., graduating from the Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Dallas.
He joined JW Marriott in May 2023 as Senior Sous Chef, initially contributing to the hotel’s culinary offerings under former Executive Chef Jonah Friedmann. Antonio has an extensive culinary background, having worked in some of Dallas’ top kitchens, including Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck, Hotel Crescent Court, and a six-year tenure as Senior Sous Chef at Fearing’s, alongside Chef du Cuisine Mike Matis. Montage, the hotel’s signature restaurant, reflects Chef Antonio’s passion for combining diverse ingredients to create bold, unexpected flavors.
