Almost a decade after first meeting at TODAY, Hailey and Justin Bieber are officially parents . The singer announced the arrival of their first child together on Instagram on Aug. 23 by sharing a photo of their newborn's tiny foot.

He also revealed their baby's name: Jack Blues Bieber. Hailey and Justin Bieber met in 2009 at TODAY when Hailey Bieber's father, Stephen Baldwin, introduced them to each other. At the time, Hailey was a preteen and Justin was a teenager.

As they grew older, the duo started spending time together and quickly became fond of each other. In September 2019, the couple married in a grand wedding ceremony , following a courthouse ceremony the year prior, and have been inseparable ever since. When asked by W magazine in July how she felt about getting married at 21 years old, Hailey Bieber said she doesn't regret it at all — she just wouldn't tell someone else to do the same thing.

“I wouldn’t tell a 21-year-old in the chair right there, ‘I think you should get married.’ It’s really each individual’s experience," she said. The couple revealed they were expecting their first child in May when they shared a video and series of photos of Hailey Bieber showing off her growing baby bump.
