VISAKHAPATNAM: Supreme Court Justice JK Maheshwari, during his visit to the picturesque Araku Valley in Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) district on Saturday, expressed deep admiration for the region's natural beauty and rich cultural heritage . Accompanied by his spouse, Justice Maheshwari arrived at Araku by train, where they were graciously received by Joint Collector Dr MJ Abhishek and ITDA Project Officer V Abhishek. Upon arrival, the couple visited the Railway Guest House before heading to the Tribal Museum.

Immersed in the local culture, Justice Maheshwari remarked, "The traditions of the tribal communities here are truly mesmerizing. The preservation of such cultural heritage is vital for future generations." Their visit continued to the Giri Grama Darshini at Pedalabudu gram [panchayat, where both Justice Maheshwari and his spouse embraced the local customs by donning traditional tribal attire and participating in a ceremonial tribal wedding.

The Justice praised the organizers for crafting such an authentic and meaningful experience, stating, "This has been an enlightening experience, allowing us to connect deeply with the traditions and values of the tribal communities." Later in the day, the couple visited the renowned Borra Caves . They were awestruck by the natural splendour of the caves, with Justice Maheshwari noting, "The natural formation of these caves is truly a wonder.
