Jung Hae In And Jung So Min Find His Mother’s Suitcase At The Police Station In “Love Next Door”

tvN’s “Love Next Door” has unveiled a sneak peek of its upcoming episode! “Love Next Door” is a romantic comedy by the director and writer of the hit drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” Jung So Min stars as Bae Seok Ryu, a woman who tries to reboot her troubled life after it goes awry. Jung Hae In plays her mom’s friend’s son Choi Seung Hyo, whom she considers a dark and embarrassing chapter in her life.

On the previous episode of “Love Next Door,” Choi Seung Hyo finally got Bae Seok Ryu to let out the feelings she had been bottling up after secretly undergoing treatment for cancer and struggling with depression. Seok Ryu blamed him for ghosting her while she was alone in the United States, and Seung Hyo belatedly apologized after regretting his actions. In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Seung Hyo and Seok Ryu wind up at the police station with his dad Choi Kyung Jong ( Lee Seung Joon ), who is visibly distraught with fear and worry.

Notably, Seung Hyo’s mom Seo Hye Sook ( Jang Young Nam ) is nowhere to be seen, with only her suitcase left behind for the trio to examine. Although the nervous Choi Kyung Jong—who previously asked Seo Hye Sook for a divorce—remains calm while opening the lock on his wife’s suitcase, the tension is palpable as Seung Hyo and Seok Ryu worriedly look on from the sidelines. It remains to be seen why Seo Hye Sook suddenly disappeared—and what will happen to her troubled marriage with Choi Kyung Jong.
