Jr NTR Reveals Devara Never Meant To Have A Sequel: 'We Never Wanted It Into Two Parts'

Jr NTR is gearing up for Koratala Siva’s upcoming action thriller Devara Part 1. The film, set to release in cinemas on September 27, also features Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in key roles. Recently, in an interview, Jr NTR revealed that Devara Part 1 was “never” intended to have a sequel.

He also spoke about Janhvi and Saif’s roles in the film. The makers of the film posted a clip on X, where director Koratala Siva and the cast are seen interacting with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. During the conversation, Jr NTR shared that while he and Koratala initially planned for just one movie, they soon realised the story was too big to fit into a single part.

“We never actually wanted to make this film in two parts. Never. We never had the intention of making it into two parts.

But going deep into it, when we started shooting for it, it’s character-driven,” he added.
