Macomb County restaurateur Joe Vicari next month will open the doors of his newest eatery titled Andiamo Pasta & Chops on the grounds of the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township, officials said Thursday. The 7,670-square-foot restaurant takes the place of the former Brio Italian Grille space at the front of the mall on Hall Road east of Garfield Road. Michigan-based Joe Vicari Restaurant Group will host a sneak peek for invited dignitaries and media on Tuesday, Sept.

10, followed by a grand opening on Friday, Sept. 13, according to an invitation. Officials said the new restaurant “boasts a sleek and modern design.

“Andiamo Pasta & Chops is mirrored off Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Italian Steakhouse in Las Vegas, which offers Andiamo favorites alongside the finest meats from the nation’s top butchers in a beautiful, casual setting.’ The restaurant “promises to appeal to a wide range of Metro Detroiters looking for handcrafted pastas, fine Italian food, prime steak, and an award-winning wine list,” the invitation read. An earlier press release state the facility will be reconfigured around a central bar that will become the centerpiece of the new restaurant.

It will be surrounded by a lounge area and two new dining rooms. Indoor and outdoor dining options will be available, along with a separate banquet area with seating for up to 80 people for private dining and events. According to the release, Andiamo Pasta & Chops will feature a menu of Italian favorites combi.
