The 20-year-old Heartstopper star spoke out about his upcoming new Marvel series Agatha All Along , his character “Teen,” and the Marvel fandom in a new feature with Variety . “The show never shies away from his queerness, but it’s not a defining feature of his character,” he shared of his character, who is simply only known as Teen at this time.
“It’s just one layer of him as a person.” He also thought that he would be gaining muscle for the role, but learned they actually wanted him stay as he is. “I thought you get cast in a Marvel show, you get paid to get really muscly and hench,” Joe said.
