Rock legend Jimmy Barnes has provided a health update after his hip operation. Login or signup to continue reading Writing on X the 68-year-old Cold Chisel singer thanked everyone for their good wishes. "I'm on crutches for hallway walks and exercises," he wrote.

"I have to thank everyone doing their best to get me back on my feet again. That includes all of you cheering me on." Barnes was forced to reshedule shows in August.

This latest health battle comes after he recently underwent open-heart surgery due to a serious bacterial infection in December, 2023. It comes after Barnes showed fans his remarkable recovery from open heart surgery belting out beloved songs to the crowd in his first performance in months at the latest edition of Bluesfest in March this year . In a nod to his serious health issues, Barnes took the stage to the strains of the song Resurrection Shuffle to the delight of fans.
