The Shout Out To My Ex singer, 33, shared her decision to leave the band in December 2020 and said being in Little Mix had taken a toll on her mental health. And Jesy’s surprise decision was supported by fellow The X Factor winners Rak Su at the time.

Band member and former I’m A Celebrity star Myles, 33, said of Jesy back in 2020 : "I think that she’s been in Little Mix for nine years and she’s had all these comments. We all know that she’s gone through drama with people, obviously trolling and social media so I think she made a very smart decision and that decision could have potentially saved her life." He continued: "We don’t know if she had stayed in the group and continued to receive the social media trolling that she used to get, who knows what could have happened.

” Myles explained to Metro.co.uk how the band’s fourth member Mustafa Rahimtulla had also taken a break from the band, similar to Jesy, after "struggling with mental health issues".

He explained: "It’s the same situation with Mustafa when he used to get trolled as well. How long can people take it? You know whether you’re a confiden.
