The wife of ex-BBC presenter Jermaine Jenas has broken her silence for the first time since he was a xed from his role at the broadcaster. Jenas, a familiar face on The One Show and a regular Match of the Day pundit, had his BBC contract terminated following allegations that he sent unsolicited inappropriate messages to a female employee. The 41-year-old former footballer later admitted to hiding these actions from his wife.

Married to ex-model Ellie Penfold since 2011, the pair share two daughters and a son. Nearly a month after the scandal broke, Ellie Penfold has stepped into the spotlight, not to address her husband's controversy, but to unveil "something very special" she's been working on for the past three years. While she hasn't directly spoken about her husband's behaviour, her Instagram bio, which includes 'mother and a wife', hints that she might still support him.

Ellie has debuted Preppy Skin, a personal care brand aimed at kids and teens. Taking to Instagram, she shared: "As a mother of 4, I knew that there was a gap for something immersive, fun but also (and most importantly to my eldest). Has to look amazing for her Get ready with me routines! ", reports Chronicle Live .

She continued: "The collection begins with personal care products, with an incredible pipeline of future products. Every product has been tried, tested and approved from the packaging, scents, formulations, and of course the name PREPPY! ! We can not wait to finally launch this brand, and reve.
