No sooner than he'd unveiled a festive menu boasting "all locally sourced and reared British farmed food" than bookings were snapped up. The very competitively priced £40 per person three-course meals were too much for Clarkson's Farm fans to resist - and those who didn't secure a spot were left tearing out their hair in frustration.
"Tried every date in December - nothing available. Nothing in November either," one fan agonised, while another lashed out, complaining: "How is there no tables already?"
