Jeremy Clarkson has had the green light for a new project on Diddly Squat Farm . Amazon viewers can expect to see the latest addition play out in an upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm after the 64-year-old was granted permission by the council. The former Top Gear presenter had applied for an extension to build a bullpen.

Planning documents saw Clarkson's request to add 6m in width and 11.5m in height to the end of one of his barns, noting it will ensure the "welfare of the main herd". He owns a small herd of Beef Shorthorn cattle and it's thought the new process will feature on TV.

"The proposed extension is to provide a pen in order that the farm’s bull can be housed separate from the main herd to ensure welfare and avoid out-of-season calvings," the approval documents stated. It comes as Jeremy continues works on his £1million pub. Drone snaps revealed the impressive new decking area outside his taproom, sparking rumours that an opening could be imminent.

Jeremy has taken over The Windmill and its surrounding five-acre plot near the charming village of Burford in Oxfordshire. The former wedding venue, which had seen better days, is set to undergo a significant transformation under Clarkson's vision, complete with a new name. "There is some work to be done on the pub itself as the cellar is too small, the gable end is falling down, the outside decking area is dangerous, the water is unfit for human consumption, the loft is full of dead rats and the lavatories are illegal.
