For this week of August 5 to August 9, Tournament of Champions week two is showing. For Monday's episode they aired the Tournament of Champions that had champions Troy Meyer, Deb Bilodeau, and Sean McShane facing off against each other. The episode originally aired on March 6.
During the contestants interview portion of Jeopardy!, Troy shared some . He said they were expecting a baby girl in two weeks (at the time the show aired). Ken congratulated him and the audience applauded.
“And my wife brought it up that if I win the tourn[ament] of champions, we are going to call her Kenderella,” the music executive added, much to the surprised delight of Ken. The news also caused laughter to fill the studio with contestant Deb's audibly heard. Ken askedTroy what would they call their baby girl for short: "Ken" or "Ella.
" Troy responded that they "haven't worked that part out." “If I was your wife, this would be a very strong counter incentive. I would not want you winning the Tournament of Champions,” Ken quipped back at Troy.
As the two gentlemen laughed, Ken expressed his love for the fact that Troy's wife is in favor of it and proceed to say "Well you have my blessing.” The game continued after that and Troy went on to dominate. He started off strong and ramped everything up in Double Jeopardy! where he got a Double Daily with alread.
