According to court documents, Lopez, 55, submitted a divorce filing in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, marking the conclusion of a romance that began 20 years ago on the set of the 2003 film ‘Gigli’. The couple, affectionately known as “Bennifer” by the media and fans, had a whirlwind relationship that garnered intense scrutiny and attention from the public and tabloids alike.

After initially planning to wed in 2003, the couple parted ways in early 2004. Nearly two decades later, Lopez and Affleck reignited their romance, leading to a marriage in Las Vegas in July 2022. A month afterward, they commemorated their union with a grander celebration in Georgia.
