While the duo tied the knot in the private Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, a month before a larger ceremony in Georgia, their love story spanned nearly 25 years. Affleck and Lopez first started dating in 2001, and were even set to wed in 2003 . However, they called off their engagement just days before their nuptials—later explaining how their highly scrutinized private life played into their split.
"We broke up three days before our wedding," Lopez recalled in her documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told . "We just crumbled under the pressure."
