Jennifer Aniston has reportedly stepped in to help her struggling co-star Matt LeBlanc following the death of Matthew Perry . Matthew tragically died in October last year at the age of 54. The actor's death is thought to have hit Matt hard, who played Joey Tribbiani in the iconic sitcom.
And those close to the stars say Jennifer, who stars as Rachel Green, has kept in close contact with Matt to try to help him. It's claimed Jen harbours some guilt over not being there enough for the Chandler Bing actor being his sad passing. Courteney Cox , who played Monica Geller, is said to also be helping as the gang continue with their grief process.
According to Heat Magazine, a source said: "Watching Matt struggle has been extremely difficult for Jen. She's been spending a lot of time with Matt at his home in Pacific Palisades - cooking for him, or just hanging out and watching movies, or sitting and chatting." The insider claims Jennifer has also stayed overnight on occasion and between herself and Courteney have made sure one of them is on hand to "keep an eye" .
Matt previously claimed his Friends co-stars - which also included David Schwimmer as Ross Geller and Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay - as "family". The source went on to explain how Matthew's death has really hit him hard, and claimed it has affected his dating life, eating habits and work schedule too. They continued: "She's [Jennifer] taken it upon herself to connect Matt with some therapists and get her trainer to his house.
