Jennifer Aniston's Beverly Hills home is a 20th-century masterpiece. Set on a hillside, the space radiates with the kind of mid-century modern charm and craftsmanship you expect from Harold W. Levitt; the renowned architect behind home.

But inside, the home is equally special. Designed by Stephen Shadley, who worked with her on the project for nearly two and a half years, and poured his heart and soul into it. 'I am so proud of this house,' says Aniston in a conversation with Architectural Digest.

'It was a project without a problem.' I've spent hours devouring the details of this space. The bathroom is a particular favorite.

Not least for the hotel-style aura, but another detail has stolen my heart. The illuminated stone bathroom countertop. Now marble counters have been popular for a while, says Alice Hood, senior design consultant at Roundhouse.

'But the ability to set yours aglow is an unexpected wow factor that would rival even the chicest hotel or Michellin-star restaurant.' I suspect we'll be seeing more illuminated countertops and surfaces in 2025. This bathroom lighting trend is a statement way to create a new dimension to the central showpiece and make it dazzle.
